The private 12-seat Chef's table area faces the open kitchen where guests can view the cooking process. The partially enclosed area is canopied by trees and is beautifully appointed with a large hand-hewn Oak Wood Table on stone pedestals, beautifully upholstered, high back chairs, and a hand blown glass and iron chandelier.
When Giuseppe's family came to America more than forty years ago, they brought with them their talent for making the world famous cuisine of Abruzzi. Today, many of Filomena's incredible Central Italian dishes originate form old family recipes.
At Filomena Cucina Rustica, you will find a menu of simple and flavorful Italian dishes along with more modern fare. Appetizers include stuffed Roman artichokes, Burratta cheese, grilled Portobello topped with jumbo lump crab meat and a variety of pizzas baked in the restaurant's own brick oven such as Arugula pizza topped with shaved Parmesan cheese, marinated tomatoes, garlic and baby arugula.
